LVC Kids

We desire to help our children to become lifelong followers of Jesus, rooted and established in His love, shaped by the truth of His Word, and empowered by the gifts of His Spirit.

We value

  • biblically based teaching
  • age appropriate small group activities
  • hands on opportunities for children to experience Christ's love & share it with others.
  • the full operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in all who believe in Jesus.

We include children in the worship portion of our service and provide a  special children's area in our Worship Center so that they can express themselves creatively through movement and art.

During our message time, Children ages 2-8th grade are welcome to participate in age appropriate small groups  with our children's ministry volunteers.

If your child has special needs, we want you to know that they are important to us and a valued part of our children's program.  Please let us know how we can make your child's experience the best it can be.

Heather Swier is our Children's Ministry Director.

Multigenerational Discipleship

We're excited to be using Pebbles & Stones with our children, emphasizing "bringing generations together to experience and expand the Kingdom of God."

"The Pebbles & Stones Teaching Model includes biblical storytelling followed by listening to God’s voice, journaling, sharing, and praying, all in an inter-generational setting. Participants grow in their relationship with God as they learn to hear His voice. They also build relationships with each other by listening to one another and through praying for each other. The emphasis is always to hear and respond to God’s voice." ~ Kathleen Trock-Molhoek, Founder

Here at Lakeshore Vineyard Church, we want to train our children in knowing God and recognizing His voice. We want them to know they are loved by God and that He wants to use them in powerful ways to advance His kingdom. And all of this is birthed out of a relationship with God, grounded in His Word, and led by the Holy Spirit.
