Frequently Asked Questions about Online Giving
1. Is online giving secure?
Yes. We have a secure online site. Your information is not shared with anyone?
2. Who sees my information?
The only person in our organization who sees your gift is our bookkeeper, and she only sees the amount of your gift and your e-mail address. Your credit card or bank account information is not shared or seen.
3. Can I set up a recurring gift?
Yes. You can set up a recurring gift by clicking the box that says recurring.
4. Can I change the amount of a reoccuring payment?
Yes. In order to change the amount of a reoccuring payment, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 394.5500.
5. Can I give with a debit card? I only saw a credit card option?
Yes. You can give by entering your debit card information because most debit cards also act as credit cards.
6. How much personal information do I need to provide?
The only information you need to give online is a name and e-mail address. We do not require you to give your home address unless you give using a credit card. Credit card companies require a home address in order to authorize your transaction.
